I have a Sony OLED A80L tv and Sony A7000 sound bar. Until recently my Roku remote worked everything. Then it stopped turning off the Tv. Now I have changed to CEC and the TV works but the sound bar does not turn off. Any suggestions?

Could you please confirm if you've received any software updates? If so, kindly let us know your currently running software version. Also, did you make any changes to your Roku setup?
Furthermore, let's try to reset your remote by pressing and holding the Back and Home buttons simultaneously for about 20 seconds. After doing so, pair it again and set up your remote for CEC to see if this will make any difference.

I have the same problem wiht my Sony SA-5400 sound bar and 40w 65W TV. The Roku remote turns on the TV and sound bar and controls volume but it won't turn off the sound bar. I have to use the Sony remote turn off the sound bar. I tried doing a hard reset of the sound bar. It didn't work.
I'm having the same problem. My Roku remote turns my Sony sound bar on but won't turn it off. My Sony TV is set up for CEC and HDMI. The Roku remote worked sometimes but now it doesn't. I have to use the Sony remote to turn the TV off.
I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Had to call Sony and did a total reset of my Sony A7000 sound bar. Works great again.
