Roku Remote not setting up on RCA TV

I recently got a Roku 4k Streaming Stick and was trying to set it up on my RCA tv. Everything was going well until it tried to set up the remote for volume and power controls. I still hear the music and none of the codes worked. I saw a post saying try JVC or LG and neither worked either. What do I do to properly set up the remote?

I should also clarify the stick initially recognizes the TV as a BOE TV. And no it did not pair.
