Roku remote device disabled / unable to message

I have a Roku remote that stopped working today. I reviewed all previous posts in regard to troubleshooting, viewed numerous you tube videos but nothing will work.

other similar issues instructed to private message Danny. However I am unable to find a way to do so. 

I am asking if reaching out to Danny is still an option - and if all attempts to revive this unit fail, is replacing the remote the next option? And if so, how do I go about doing that?
