Roku regular remote not working

My roku remote is not working. Last night it wasn't working but I put in new batteries and it worked intermittently for about a couple hours. Now this morning I try using the remote and nothing is working. I unplugged the roku and HDMI, switched the batteries around, and the sensor bar is visible in front of the tv.

    To help us figure out what's going on, could you share a bit more information?

    • What model number is on your Roku remote?
    • Are you having this issue with just one app, or is it affecting all the apps on Roku?
    • When and where did you buy the Roku remote? Did it come bundled with a Roku device?
