Roku Plus TV screen mirroring?

Is there a setting on the Plus TV to turn on Screen Mirroring?

Brand new (Jan 2024) Plus, updated software, is not connecting with Samsung Smart View. Android 12, UI 4.1. Both are connected to WIFI with excellent signals.

Hard rebooted (unplugged) twice both TV and phone. Smart View sees other devices (like router) but not TV.  Settings/system/screen mirroring: prompt. Devices: -none-

Placed phone under & in front of TV (about 2 ft) for 5 minutes each of 3 attempts).

It would seem the TV is not receiving or sending out the needed signal.

Thanks

To use screen mirroring, you must first set up and enable the feature on your Android or Windows device and then request a connection to your Roku device. Once you confirm the request and the connection is established, you can see your mobile screen on your TV and control it from your phone or tablet.

For more detailed information about screen mirroring, visit our Support page here: How to screen mirror your Android or Windows phone.

The issue is smart view is not recognizing the roku tv, as seen in the second photo of "how to make a connection" (paraphrased).  Please reread my initial post.  If you are confident the roku is set up properly, I will reach out to the Smart View developers

BTW my roku speakers work fine.
