Make sure the wireless mode in your Xfinity router is set to b/g/n and not g/n. ISPs have a habit of changing settings in their customer's equipment.

Hey Roku users,
I figured out what the issue was. the security mode on the wireless was set too WPA3 I set it too WPA2 and voila it connected right away..
So check your Security mode and make sure it is on WPA 2.. thnx all 😉

Currently, the only Roku devices that can use WPA3 security is the Roku Ultra 4850 and Roku-branded RokuTVs. (these are wifi6 devices/tvs).
All other models of Roku are not wifi6 capable, so cannot use WPA3.
If you have some wifi6 devices on your network, you can set your security to WPA2/WPA3 and each device should use the appropriate protocol.
