Roku Mobile App plays the Same Episode on "Continue Watching on TV"

As the title suggests, each time I try to use the "Continue Watching on TV" option on the Roku app to pick up where I left off in a TV series on Hulu, the same episode of any given TV show will play, no matter. I only really watch series on Hulu, and each show that I've tried this on produces the same result: the last episode of the 1st season of the show will play when I try "Continue Watching on TV". I recently tested this with American Dad, Abbott Elementary, and Always Sunny, and the result was the same each time. Each of them have different episodes per season, the only thing they have in common is that they're all on Hulu. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix?

    We understand that your Roku app's "continue watching" feature consistently displays the same episode on your TV. We want to look more into it.

    Please share a few details.

    • May we know when it starts happening?
    • Could you see a "continue watching" directly on your Hulu app on your Roku device? If so, does it also have the same behavior as the Roku App? 
    • Have you checked other apps to see if they're also affected?

    In the meantime, you can give these steps a try: 

    • Try uninstalling and reinstalling the Roku app and see if there are any changes.
