Roku Mobile App on IOS - Remote Screen added slide up causing issues

I have been using the remote app for years with my headphones and hearing aids.  It has been wonderful and reliable until your marketing team decided to add that stupid slider at the bottom of the remote screen on the app.  Since that was added,  the app has become unstable.  Freezing,  dropping the audio randomly.  Furthermore,  that dtupid slider gets in the way of closing or minimizing the app and creeps up unexpectedly.  HOW DO I GET THE OLD VERSION BACK WITHOUT THAT STUPID SLIDER at the bottom.  By the way,  I ended up on the Roku website accidentally, via that slider.  I know marketing probably thought it was clever but it ruined one of the most perfect aspects of the ROKU platform.  Get ke the old reliable app back!!!!!

    Amen!  That f..ing popup (pullup,slideup). Whatever you want to call it has ruined the App!  It never fails.  You get something you love and marketing has to ruin it!  With that app update,  the whole thing quit working reliably!  I would love to slap the idiot that thought it was a good idea to add that stupud pop up.  It’s how I accidentally ended up on their sight and made it to this forum.  This is how I know it was marketing,  because accidentally hiting that popup brought me to a screen to buy more products instead of responding to the button I was trying to press for the headphones (yet again!!!!).  So did it cause me to buy more products?  No instead,  I found a blog of irritated users confirming my fears.  ROKU IS NOW ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF CORPORATE GREED!  Good job bozos!
