Roku issues /remote .........,...................,

I had my roku mobile app on my phone,using my phone as a remote ....Then it wasn't picking up the device for some reason,I reset my device but without an remote I can't connect to it without Internet .HOW CAN I CONNECT MY PHONE ROKU APP TO MY DEVICE WITHOUT BEING CONNECTED TO SAME WIFI? IS THERE A WAY TO MANUALLY INPUT THE DEVICE SN ...SO I CAN CONNECT MY PHONE AS A REMOTE AGAIN OR AM I SCREWED?

    Sorry, if you factory reset your Roku device then you need a physical remote.  There's no way around it.  Depending on the model of your Roku device, you may be able to get a cheap universal remote that supports Roku device, but if it's a stick that plug into the TV without the need for an HDMI cable then you need a Roku Voice remote.
