Roku is not working no matter what I do-HELP

I have followed every step. I have restarted my wifi, I have checked my wifi and password and both correct, re-wrote the password and triple checked it was correct. I have restarted my Roku many times. I have restarted my router even though everything else in my house works fine. I have done it all! I really don’t want to do a factory reset. It would be almost impossible to figure out my passwords for everything. I just want to watch Netflix and I’m getting so frustrated. It’s been like this for hours now. 
I have had my Roku for about four years and have never had this issue.

  • I’m having the same problem. The only thing that worked for me was changing my router name to something different, with no special characters. I also turned off encryption, which eliminates the need for a WiFi password.

    this worked for 2 out of 3 of my Rokus.

    What is your Roku model number (found in Settings/System/About), your router model number, and ISP (internet provider)?

    Also, are you seeing any error numbers in a message box (lower right)?

    A little more detail the better since you seem to have responded to a thread but the forum software moved you into your own so can't see what issue what you were responding to.
