Roku hdmi into receiver , remote does not control receiver volume
I plugged my ultra into receiver directly. Volume will not control the receiver.

any ideas

Roku disclaims any direct volume control of anything but TVs, however, after setting up the TV, you may be able to get the TV to control the AVR via HDMI-CEC.
