Roku Express Not Powering Up

I bought a Roku Express a couple of months ago (April this year) and up to this week it's been working fine.

I noticed during the night that the TV woke up by itself, the Roku box started to flash around 5 times, then turned off and the TV went to no signal, I thought nothing of it at the time.

When I came to use the TV + Roku I found that I got no signal from the Roku, it simple flashes 5 times upon boot and then turns off, nothing on the TV short of the No Signal.

I've tried different HDMI cables, different power sources (direct from TV USB port and one from a USB plug) but no change.

    That seems to have brought it back to life.

    Any reason as to why this happened?

      Glad to hear it’s all sorted out! This can happen if the cable isn’t plugged in correctly or is loose on your TV’s back. Just double-check all the cables to make sure everything’s good.
