Roku express lost remote and not on same network
I'm ,missing the controller and I'm not on same network so how can I connect with my Roku app or another type

If you know the settings of the last network it connected to (SSID and password) and you can configure your phone's hotspot to match and you have another device with the Roku app you can connect to the phone's hotspot you may be able to get it connected to the new network. If you have control over the new network, configure it to match the last network. Otherwise, pick up a cheap universal remote that supports Roku devices or a new Roku remote.
