i just got a new Roku express stick and lost the remote it’s not connected to the internet and I can’t access it thru the mobile app how do I go abt connecting it do I need to buy a new remote if so how would I connect it?.
Express devices aren't sticks (there's a significant distinction). You need a working remote. If it's really an Express, many universal remotes support Roku devices or you can get the simple remote for 10 bucks. If it's a stick that plugs directly into the TV without the need for an HDMI cable, you need a voice remote.

You just point the simple remote at the device. There's no setup required.
Oh I see.., it’s a Roku 4k it has a hdmi and then it’s powered by a micro usb cable so I just need the new remote? Thank you for your reply
