Roku Express 4k - Airplay not Working

Device model: 3941X2 - Roku Express 4K+
Serial: X02200M9GYHU
deviceID: SOHAK469GYHU
Software: 14.0 (14.0.4 build 12221-E4)
Tracker ID: HU-408-712

I have updated the software on the roku, restarted it and my TV, restarted my mac and iPhone (iPhone 15, iOS 17.5.1, Macbook Air m2, macOS 14.1.2), still no workey.

    Exact same issue, issue ID OS-415-797, model 3941x2- roku express 4k+, serial x02200A7370s, software ver 14.0.4, build 12221-e4 GC ver 12.4.17, time stamp 2024-10-15T17:57:49Z

    I have : tried all wireless networks and made sure all are on the same network, tried several mac's and IOS devices, rebooted several times, checked for updates, tried turning off screen sharing and back on, turned off bandwidth saver, changed to airplay password, changed to require always and 1st time only, reset paired devices, which was "none" ,changed screen mirroring mode to always allow, Im about to use a windows computer to test that, I may return it if no answer.... thanks

      I just bought it, so it's never worked...  an update:  My windows 11 laptop works fine with airplay on the roku so it's definitely a Apple/IOS issue at least for me.

    This Roku will not accept the pin code or password for airplay, I enter the code but it keeps popping back up..  I just bought it two days ago and everything else appears to work correctly.

  • Having the same issue with mine - bought in August 2024. Device model: 3941X2 - Roku Express 4K+. Both Roku and all Airplay devices have up to date software.
