Roku Does not Connect to My Network automatically

Looking at the numerous posts this seems to be a common product issue with no resolution. Until last week, each time I turned on my Roku TV it automatically connected to my network. Although nothing has changed with my network, I now have to go to Advanced System Settings/Power/Restart Device to get it to connect. While it's only a TV and there is a workaround, I find it annoying, glancing through the posts, there does not seem to be a reason given for all of the network connection issues. Does anyone have any recommendations for a different brand of "smart" televisions that don't seem to have unsolved issues?

BTW, this problem seems to be very common but there is no label for it.
