This is the classic channel congestion problem that many suffer from when using WiFi. Install WiFi Analyzer for Android or something similar if you own an iPhone. Then open the app and take note of how many others are using the same channel/band. If you're like most and 'rent' equipment from the service provider its likely the router is using the default 'auto' selection for channels. Log into the router, disable 'auto selection' then look at the app and choose a channel with less congestion

I resolved the issue. I had to reset the wifi router to factory settings. works perfectly. Apparently, a power outage caused the router to not hold the ROKU signal, but every other device was OK. Three ROKUs would drop after 30 seconds and reconnect. The wifi needed to be reset to factory.
Yay!!!!

Firewife1360The most prevalent issue with WiFi connectivity is channel congestion. I'd recommend you install WiFi Analyzer for Android or something similar if you use Apple. Once installed open the app and view how many others are using the same channel/band as you are. Next, log into the router and disable the 'auto' feature for channel selection and choose a channel with less congestion. Another suggestion would be to use the 2.4 gHz band instead of 5 gHz since its a stronger signal but a bit slower. To stream 4K you only need about 50 mbps which 2.4 easily handles. If you're using service provider modem/router, you may need to contact them for the login password to change the settings. Hope that helps

Roku device cycles in and out of connectivity to the Wi-Fi. Every 18 to 30 seconds. Disconnected all other devices from the Wi-Fi and it continues to cycle in and out. Connected the Roku to a hotspot and it works perfectly. Changed the Roku device that continues to cycle in and out with another roku in the house that worked perfectly, but once moved, it also cycled in and out. It happened a day after we had a power outage. Signal strength is excellent yet It continues to cycle. Rebooted entire system several times and the roku still cycles.
