Roku box won’t work on my TCL Roku TV

I just purchased the new Roku 2024. I wanted to use that instead of using the built in Roku in my TCL TV but I can’t get it to work. I get to the language screen but when I click English it just beeps and can’t go any further. I’m probably gonna send it back.

    Which remote are you using?  The one that came with the Roku player, or the one that came with the TV?
