Roku automatically goes to Sling tv. Will not offer other options.
We had power go out due to the hurricane. Once it came back on, our Roku seems to automatically go to the sling app. We don’t use sling so I’m not sure why it’s doing this. It will not go to the homepage and allow us to control other choices. Any suggestions on how to force a restart or fix this? I’ve already tried repeatedly to unplug and replug it in. Thank you.
I suspect your power outage was “messy” and jumbled some info in the Roku.
I think I would try a factory reset: (About half way down this page. You’ll probably need to use the physical button method)

Make sure to hold the button for long enough to not just do a simple restart.
You will need to re-enter your Wi-Fi info and re-link it to your Roku account so you might want to collect that info before you start.
