ROKU App Restarts Episodes After Each Commercial Break

Used to love the roku channel (even with the commercials). Recently it's become obnoxious. Every time an episode hits a block of commercials it restarts the episode from the beginning again once the commercials finish. Then I have to quickly fast forward to where I was and hope I can get there before getting stuck watching yet another commercial block and the espiode restarts again. It's to the point where shows are unwatchable. This only happens on the mobile app and not on the TV app.

    If this happened to me, the first thing I would try would be to delete the Roku mobile app, restart the mobile device, then reinstall the Roku mobile app.
