Roku 3960x disconnects from wifi

I recently got the roku 3960x for traveling purposes and I'm having connectivity issues. I'm in hotels alot and am unable to reset their router. I use their wifi for all my other devices like my phone, laptop, and my Nintendo switch. I've had 0 issues with my devices on this wifi. The roku device keeps disconnecting from the wifi and my mobile Hotspot within 20 mins of watching anything. I've reset the network connection, unplugged the roku, reset the roku the only thing I haven't tried is a factory reset. Any help is appreciated.
