I have disabled AND don’t the 4 time * not merous times for each! I even did a hard wipe of the system and started from scratch! Every time I turn the volume up, the voice say, VOLUME ICON. SET AT 10% (or whatever)!
IT IS SO ANNOYING!

We're glad to assist you with disabling the screen reader. You can customize your screen reader experience by going to Settings, then Accessibility, and then Screen Reader. If turning the screen reader off by pressing (*) four times doesn't work, it's possible that the screen reader of your TV (not your Roku device) is turned on. We recommend checking your TV settings or contacting your TV manufacturer's customer support to learn how to turn it off.

Announcements of volume will be coming from the TV. If you have a roku player attached to a TV, then doing things to the Roku will not affect that setting in the TV.
