Removed stream bar .. old remote ??

I installed a Roku branded Stream bar & wireless Bass on my ROKU TV (7 yo) 

Hated it , didn’t work as advertised so I wish to disconnect it 

I tried to pair my old non voice remote ( no pair button ) and could not 

MY question: once I delete and unplug streaming device will I be able to pair old remote if it’s not paired ?

    I think Roku TVs without voice remotes, have IR remotes.  There is nothing to pair with IR – they just work as long as they are pointed at the device. (And have good batteries and are working, of course.)
