Remotes won't work on two Roku Streaming Stick 4Ks in the same room

I have two Roku Streaming Stick 4Ks plugged into two different TVs on the same wall in my basement. I cannot get both remotes to work on their respective sticks at the same time. When I repair one remote, the other one stops working with its stick. Is there any way that I can get the two remotes to consistently work with their respective sticks, or do I need to buy a non-Roku device for one of the TVs?

Remotes can get confused when they detect multiple Rokus to which they can be paired.

While pairing each remote, temporarily pull the power plug of the other Roku.

For clarity, the left Roku/ remote have generally been working while the right Roku/ remote have not been.

I pulled the power out of the left Roku and the batteries out of the left remote, and then did the pairing on the right Roku/ remote. The right Roku/ remote are now working. The left Roku/ remote are no longer working and will not pair even with the power unplugged from the right Roku and the batteries out of the right remote. I have tried to reset the left remote and still am not having any luck.

Are Roku's simply unable to have two devices in the same room? It doesn't make sense that it would be the case, but I may have to switch to another streaming device.

cvidal89, I have multiple Roku devices within the same room each with its own remote paired to it, so that's not the problem.  I have had trouble as makaiguy mentioned with trying to get the remote paired in the first place and having to pull the power on one or more Roku devices.  My preferred way of pairing is to put the remote in pairing mode (hold the pairing button until the light starts flashing) and then connect the power to the Roku device.  Set the remote down or hold it close to the Roku device and unplug the power from any other Roku devices in the area.  Also, make sure the batteries are good.  More than one time I've had batteries that wouldn't work to get a remote paired, but were fine once it was.

Once you pair a remote to a stick, it shouldn't matter if you remove the batteries, so I'm surprised that once you got the right Roku/remote paired the left stopped working.  There may be something else going on like the receiver on the left Roku coincidentally just decided to die or the batteries were on their way out.  Those USB cables with the embedded receiver (and make sure you're using that cable) are always suspect.
