Remote will not communicate with device.

Has anyone else had this issue? I take my Roku stick with us camping and connect to the campgrounds Wi-Fi. Lately the remote will not work when I am at the campground and I end up having to use the remote app on my phone. Is there anything that could be causing inference between the remote and the Roku stick plugged into my TV? Is used to work but now suddenly it won’t work. I have changed the batteries in remote, even brought a totally different Roku stick and it did same thing. Remote will not communicate. I bring them home plug them in and everything functions fine. Any ideas?

    Thanks for posting, and welcome to the Roku Community.

    We appreciate you for bringing this to our attention, and we'd love to help. Have you tried re-pairing the Roku remote by pressing and holding the pairing button located in the battery compartment? Also, have you tried using a different network to see if the Roku remote is fully functional since you've mentioned that it doesn't work at the campsite?
