Remote Voice Feature Error keeps popping up: "Sorry, unable to receive audio from your remo

I got this message with all my Roku remotes and finally figured out that the remotes were too close to the Roku TVs and were picking up TV audio which [some words] triggered the remote even when I wasn't using the mic. The mic has always worked for me. I use an optical soundbar. Moving the remotes away from the TVs behind some items on the coffee table seems to solve the trigger message for me.
