Remote skipping the answer i used .

My remote would skip over shows , movies etc. So I got a new remote changed  batteries  etc. Finally I unplugged the Roku stick  from the back of my TV and unplugged it from the power.  I Waited a few minutes and plugged it all back in and it stopped jumping all over the place. So this is a great place to start hope it helps some people. I didnt need a new remote the old one works fine again.
