Remote skipping multiple options when only pushing button once

When I try to use the over and up and down buttons on my Roku simple remote, it is skipping and jumping. I’ve tried replacing the batteries and it’s not working. It is connected to our TV via HDMI. This just started happening on both our upstairs and downstairs remotes.

    1. Press Home on your Roku remote.
    2. Scroll and select Settings.
    3. Select System.
    4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.

  • Same problem here, I have issues with Philo on both my Roku ultra and my Roku TV. Same problem on both. When I push the arrow key on the remote, it scrolls all the way as far as it can go. When I push fast forward to skip a commercials it skips to the next episode. This makes Philo unusable,

I've had this issue all summer. Philo acts like they have never heard of it.
