Remote Problem

My dog ate my Roku remote and it is not working. My Roku is not paired to the Internet so I cannot use the app on the phone. How do I fix this? Do I need to buy a whole new Roku, or can I get a new remote?

    Thanks for the post.

I've found over the years, that apparently dogs love our Roku remotes! If the Roku device is not connected to your wireless network yet, you will need a physical remote to set up the device. What Roku model device do you have? You can find a compatible replacement remote on our Products page here: https://www.roku.com/products/accessories/player

    Thanks,
    Danny

  • YALL.

I STUMBLED ON THIS AND FEEL LIKE A GENIUS.

RENAME YOUR MOBILE HOTSPOT TO THE LAST KNOWN NETWORK YOU CONNECTED TO

SET THE MOBILE HOTSPOT PASSWORD AS THE SAME PASSWORD TOO

    MINE CONNECTED INSTANTLY!!!

USE A SECOND PHONE WITH ROKU APP INSTALLED AND CONNECT TO SAME MOBILE HOTSPOT. NOW YOU CAN CHANGE THE NETWORK OR USE THE REMOTE

    YAAAAAAAY!
