Remote not connecting to the TV

when i first got it, it worked fine but after a while my remote didnt work and any remote didnt work then i changed my wifi and then my phone wasnt able to connect to it so in a moment of desperation i reset it thinking that would work but no now no remote or phone will work on and i cant get past the language screen

    It looks like you're having trouble pairing your Roku remote to your TV, and we're here to help.

    What kind of remote are you using? If it has batteries, maybe swap them out with fresh ones and see if that does the trick. If it's rechargeable, give it a charge and see if that helps.
