Remote not charging beyond 10%

  • Remote not charging more than 10 %
  • Welcome to the Roku Community, Jtvijay77!

Thank you for letting us know about your issues with charging your Roku Voice Remote Pro effectively. We'd be happy to suggest some troubleshooting steps to help you.

Firstly, please confirm whether this is a Voice Remote Pro or Voice Remote Pro (2nd edition). What specific Roku device is this remote currently paired to? Also, is this the remote that came with this device? Nevertheless, kindly try the following troubleshooting methods below:

    Restart your remote

    • If your rechargeable voice remote has a pairing button, press and hold the pairing button on the back of the remote for 20 seconds.

    • If your rechargeable voice remote doesn't have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home buttons on the Roku remote for 20 seconds.

Furthermore, disable any extra remotes that are not in use on your TV under Settings > Remotes & devices > Remotes. Try different cords to see if this makes any difference.

We'll be looking forward to your update!

    Best regards,
    Carly

I’m having the same problem with my first edition voice remote that I bought recently. Different chargers didn’t work and neither did pushing the button in the back for 20 seconds. What do I do now?
