Remote just dies, no damage, new batteries

In the past year, I have purchased 5 remotes for my streaming stick. The remotes last for a 1-2 months and then nothing. Batteries are brand new. It just stopped working, period. There is no damage to the remote. I've had it for about 6 weeks.

HELP!!

  • Where did you purchase them?  Did you try returning to the retailer?  Did you try replacing them under warranty?

I purchased 3 at Walmart....Roku brand. I have no way to get to the store without a car and all the snow. I thought about it.

I purchased 2 direct from Roku.

I cannot get in touch with anyone. I'll keep trying. I just wanted to see if anyone else is having the same issue.

      Thank you for responding 🙂

What model of remote are you using? Is it a rechargeable one or with replaceable batteries? What brand of batteries are you using?  Do you have a voice remote that you can turn on and off the voice control as that uses batteries when idle?

You can go to the Roku support here and try to get warranty/technical support. (see link)
