Remote for model 3810x has no pairing button

My Roku model 3810x needs to be restarted and won’t do anything without pairing the remote. The problem is the remote does not have a button on the back to reset with it and I’m stuck. It has fresh batteries but I can’t do anything on the screen. Please help, this is the original remote and has never been a problem. I have two others in the house with a pairing button.

    The 3810 stick+ cannot be controlled by anything other than remote with pairing button. With 3810 the pairing button is in the battery compartment, so you have to remove the battery door. Also, the stick+ cannot be used without the original usb cable with bump in it, that bump is what the remote and internet communicate with, not the Stick+ itself.
