Remote controls tv volume

I have a basic roku remote and now with a rca tv now the arrow buttons on the roku remote  controls the volume.

    Just a quick reminder: Roku remotes are only compatible with Roku TVs or Roku devices. Could you please confirm if you are using a Roku device with your RCA TV? Also, could you provide the model number of the remote you are having trouble with?
