Remote control not responding as usual

Something very unusual is happening on my remotes which are 2 sticks and an ultra. When fast forwarding and then trying to stop , the remote does not respond to any command . I have to go out of my Direct Stream app and go back in just to view that previous game I’d been watching I’ve researched the issue and have done everything Roku and all chat groups have recommended. It will work for a bit and then stop responding again Anyone else facing this issue ? Thank you
