I have a philips roku tv and my TV won't respond to my remote. I've changed the batteries and turned it off and on by unplugging it. I hit the rest button on the TV and now it stuck in setup mode I tried the app on my phone but can't connect it because I can't control the TV. The remote doesn't have a pairing or reset button. Plz help 🙏
There's not much you can do without a working remote. If there's no pairing button on the back of the remote or inside the battery compartment then the remote must have died if nothing happens when you point it at the TV. You can see if the remote is transmitting by pointing it at a digital camera like one in a phone. When you press a button on the remote you should see a flash of light on the camera's screen. No flash means the remote is dead. You can pick up a Roku voice remote at Walmart or Target or possibly a universal remote that supports Roku TVs. A Roku simple remote will not work with your TV.
I checked the remote with my phone camera and it's blinking .. but now I'm stuck on the reset screen
That makes it sound like something in the TV has failed. I have a Samsung TV that recently stopped responding to the remote. Sometimes banging on it gets it to respond and sometimes unplugging it and plugging it back in fixes it. You may have to contact Philips since they made the TV.
