Remote changes inputs on Soundbar from HDMI to Digital In

Hello,

I have a Samsung tv (2 hdmi ports and no e-arc or optical port) and Soundbar.  I use a 7*1 HDMI switch to go from device to soundbar and hdmi from soundbar to tv.  

I have tried everything I can think of to hookup the roku streaming stick 4k+ but I keep having the same issue, where any button that is pressed on the ROKU remote changes the samsung soundbar input from hdmi to digital in.  I still have this issue after 2 factory resets.  The issue appears also when trying to use my phone as a remote.  

All help would be fantastic.
