Thanks for your patience while we investigated this issue.
I've been informed that it's possible that your Roku remote pairing button on the back of your remote may be stuck. Can you verify if your remote pairing button is indeed stuck or not?
Please keep us posted what you find out and we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
I have been posting about this exact problem for years and I have a very simple solution to fix it that Roku refuses to acknowledge. Just update the firmware to give us an option in the settings to TURN OFF the remote battery warning pop up!
I'm so sick of it spamming the screen. I've made this suggestion on topics monitored by RokuDanny-R several times in the past. He never responds to it and it always goes ignored. Give us a real reason why Roku will not update the software to give us remote options to turn off this battery warning pop up!
I just got a Roku Streaming Stick 4K, after one day of use the batteries have drained from 100% down to 91%, this is absolutely ludicrous! I don't know what is going on with Roku but they can't make remotes that work properly, all the voice remotes are battery killers. This remote doesn't have private listening and takes two AAA batteries that came included with the remote.
If this reading is accurate and continues it means in less than two weeks I'll have to change my batteries and I'm not replacing batteries every two weeks because Roku doesn't know how to properly design remotes.
Is Roku going to send me free batteries to make up for the batteries their defective remotes drain far too quickly? Or do I have to waste money continually buying them because of this terrible product?
Roku get your act together, enough is enough with these terrible remotes and battery pop ups on the TV screen!
