Refresh Button Function for App

Hello Community!

Currently a new developer for Roku with some basic knowledge for building simple TV apps. 

I am planning to develop an app that will let users tap the "OK" button on remote, then it will trigger a reconnection to the server. 

Can someone provide some basic functions for remote control commands?
