Rechargeable voice remote is fully charged but does not work. Held down the pairing button for 20 seconds. Than pressed the voice button. Remote turns tv on than voice consent screen appears. None of the buttons work on remote.
The TV controls are separate from the Roku controls, so it sounds like your remote isn't paired anymore. When you press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds does the light on the remote start flashing?

Yes the remote does start flashing. The remote pairs than turns my samsung tv on. the voice consent screen is then displayed but the remote buttons won't work at all...
After I wrote my response it occurred to me that the remote must be pairing or you wouldn't get that "Voice consent" screen. I just paired my remote to remind myself of what happens. When I press any arrow button (or pretty much any button other than OK) I get the "thunk" error sound. The light on the Roku device should also flash when you press a button on the remote. Are you hearing/seeing that behavior? Nothing other pressing OK and then going to "Continue" gets out of that screen, so I'm wondering if the OK button isn't functioning on your remote.
