Re: Roku remote control buttons act stuck

If I remove batteries and use an universal remote with Roku codes as IR problem exists. Light on Roku box flashes continuously. But, if I use a wireless Roku app on IPad it does work.     Stephen

  • Remove all remotes from the room, take their batteries out, re-introduce one back into the Room with Roku and see which one is the cuprite of the IR interference.

The reason the app works is it doesn't use the front IR sensor at all, it controls the Roku by IP, the internet.

    Hello Sdt322

    Appreciate your response.

We'd like to take a closer look to see if there's anything else we can suggest to help. Could you please provide us with the serial number of the Roku device associated with the affected remote? It can be viewed by navigating to Settings > System > About. I'll be able to further assist you from there.

    Regards,
    Karla
