Purple line across the screen on TCL

Had my 55 inch TCL roku tv for a year and a half and now all of a sudden I get a thin purple line about an inch down from the top of the tv and all the color shifts from warm to cold and back again while watching a show on any channel...I called roku and they can't figure it out...I called TCL and they refuse to do anything because the warranty ran out 6 months ago... it's so annoying in going to buy a new tv

    Before proceeding it would be great if you could provide us with additional information such as follows:

    • Does the line appear during playback only?
    • Is this happening on a specific channel?
    • Did your TV recently receive any software update prior to this happening that might have triggered this issue?
    • A photo of it.
