Problems connecting the Roku device/tv to a mobile app.

I can’t connect to any app anymore.
I have two devices. One is a Roku TV and another is a Roku portable usb device. I was able to connect the Roku app on both devices.
Also a “mirror app” that I use to watch movies from my phone.
Suddenly I am not able able to connect to any of these anymore. It doesn’t find any Roku devices on same network.

I had to reconnect my wireless one day (I don’t know why it got disconnected, but after this happened, It is like they are not on same network anymore, but they are)

anyone have an idea what can it be? I am able to AirPlay, but the apps doesn’t find any Roku devices.

I tried to connect manually but that also doesn’t work. I don’t know what it is since nothing has changed aside reconnecting the wireless on both tvs.

Going to reinforce they ARE on same wireless account.

I did reset everything already. That’s not the problem.

I have restarted the router and also have tried to uinistall the Roku app. I tried to also use 3rd part apps and it can’t find both devices.

I tried to connect manually and also disable the band 2.4gz so I am 100% sure they are in same network and 5Gz band if that makes any difference.

I can’t figure it out what’s wrong. it stopped working out of nowhere.
Looking at my wireless settings I can see the devices are connected.

Thanks for keeping us posted, Jeenymonteiro

We appreciate your response as well as your effort in the attempts to resolve this issue. We recommend disabling the 5Gz band instead of the 2.4Gz since most Roku devices are more compatible with the 2.4 GZ, especially with older devices. If you're still seeing the same issue, could you please provide the following:

        • Roku mobile version
        • Mobile device information such as brand, model, and OS version.
        • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About).

Once we have this information, we can assist further.

        All the best,
        Kash
