Poor remote and connection issue with Express 4k+
Hello,
I recently bought a Roku Express 4K+. I also have two other Roku sticks and a Streambar.
By far this stick is the worst. When I turn my TV on, it sees no HDMI input so I get a "no connection" message. I have to press the home button on the remote to get it to recognize the connection and then the home screen comes up. I have NEVER had this happen with any other Roku device. I have a HDMI switch on the TV, but I know that isn't the problem because after switching them around I get the same result, so I know the switch is good. I've even plugged the stick directly into the HDMI port on the TV and get the same result.
Also, I can pause my viewing for ten minutes or so, and instead of the screen saver coming up, it kicks clear out of the connection and I get the same message....no connection.
I've lost track of how many times I've rebooted the stick. I know it's this stick because I run my Roku streambar on the same TV.
Also, this is the first Roku remote that I've had problems pairing with this TV(Samsung). It never does say that it's paired but yet it does work....but typically I have to press a button twice, to get it to respond.
Any ideas.......anyone else had this problem?? I think the stick is bad somehow.
Thanks.
It sounds like it has the auto power savings enabled:
