Philips Roku TV- I Want To Add DVD and VCR Players

How do I connect my DVD and VCR players to my Philips Roku TV.  I tried plugging in the colored wires but it doesn't work?

Maybe it isn't possible what I want to achieve or do I need a special attachment

I would like both of the aforementioned devices attached to my TV

    Just wondering if you figured this out as I'd like to do the same.  The people where I bought the tv assured me I'd be able to connect them but so far I can't.

      MGeh, what's the model number of your TV so we can look it up to see what kind of inputs it has and is it a Philips TV?
