Payment of service like Amazon prime having to pay for both
So on Amazon prime, I have to pay for a prime subscription and then the app price is that the same thing on Roku do I have to pay a subscription price and then an app price?

If you subscribe to Prime through Amazon, then just log into the Prime app on a Roku using your Prime email and password (or web link and passcode.)
This is true with most all services on a Roku. You are better off paying DIRECTLY and not through Roku.
