I am now experiencing the same issue as well. Mine happens when switching from any of the HDMI inputs. Extremely frustrating.

Hi m4570d0n,
Thanks for keeping in touch!
Can you please provide more information about the issue you are experiencing? How long has the issue been occurring? Could you send us a photo or screenshot? In addition, can you please specify the exact steps you are taking to reproduce this issue so we can investigate further?
As a first step, could you try restarting your Roku player, go to Settings > System > System restart to see if that resolves the issue you are experiencing.
Please keep us posted and we'll continue assisting you from there.
Warm Regards,

Restarting does nothing. It might not happen after the restart at first but as soon as I go to HDMI 1 (Xbox) or HDMI 2 (Directv) and then go back to the home screen it happens again. On the contrary, opening an app (like Netflix) and then back to the home screen "fixes" the issue temporarily, until I use one of the HDMI inputs again. - RokuMary-F3 years agoCommunity Moderator

Today the still unresolved issue has transformed for me. Rather than being just in the top left quadrant, the home screen is stretched across the top half of the screen while the bottom half is still black. I've already posted my device details earlier in this thread.
