Option to remove the search bar from main menu

Is there anyway the people at Roku can make it possible to block the search bar completely? Many parents of younger kids would like to be able to turn off searching so our little aren’t able to look ...

    This is exactly what is needed for kids when Parental controls are on a device. Without it you can't keep your kids safe they can find inappropriate things and trailers.

    This is absolutely not a UNIQUE feature request. Parents have been requesting this for years. It’s gotten to the point where I’m going to have to find a different solution than Roku because my son is constantly searching and adding useless apps to our roku, filling up the memory and finding inappropriate content.

    Fix this, Roku. Please.

      cna164, add a PIN to your Roku account at https://my.roku.com so that apps can't be added without entering it.
