One does not simply Roku without a wifi connection? WTF?

Are you not allowed to operate a Roku tv without connecting it to wifi?  I've just disconnected from wifi and BOOM!  Obnoxious red blinking light on the front of my tv.  Reconnect to wifi, light stop...

Roku devices flash a white light when they lose the network connection since they're pretty much useless without one, but a red light?  That's ridiculous!  Try a "Network connection reset" under Settings->System->Advanced system settings.  Maybe it will stop flashing.

    Factory reset and skipping the wifi connection during setup did the trick.   šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø  Such an attention seeking TV.
