No handshaking between my Roku Express and Mesh Network

My network management app says that my Roku Express is connected at 2.4 GB but my Roku says that it is not able to connect to the wireless network.   Apparently it is connected but Roku won't admit that

    Try checking that the supported modes (in the router) include all modes, b/g/n.  Some Rokus don’t play well with some routers if only g/n modes are available.
